Before establishing a PT PMA, you must know the daftar Negative Investment (DNI) that applies in Indonesia. The latest DNI provisions are found in (link to Presidential Regulation Number 44 of 2016), which regulates prohibitions / restrictions for PMA, for example in the field of war equipment. To be able to establish a PT PMA, a company must have investment and capital value to obtain an investment permit, namely:

Has a net worth of more than Rp. 10,000,000,000, – excluding land and buildings for business based on the latest financial statements or having annual sales of more than Rp. 50,000,000,000, – based on the latest financial statements;
Has a total investment value of more than IDR 10,000,000,000, excluding land and buildings;
Have a value of issued capital equal to paid-up capital, of at least IDR 2,500,000,000
